Texas wines have burst on to the wine scene over the past decade and the wine from local grapes only keeps getting better. In the Rio Grande Valley, grapes are relatively new and wineries even more so. Making wine is an art and requires patience and attention. At Rubiano Vineyard & Winery we are dedicated to using old world techniques to a new region of grape growing and wine making!
The Early Years
These are the first years of what will be long decades of wine aging, port wine making and fond memories for wine lovers of the Rio Grande Valley. Today, you can drive to a local vineyard, enjoy a valley-made glass of wine, sit and watch the sunset and if you wish take home a case of your favorite white, rosé or red- all made right here in your community.
